108000 males , 36000 females using cannabis.534000 males , 8000 females found dragnet of opioids and 160000 males ,8000 females using sedatives of different kinds.127000 males and 7000 females using inhalants.large number of males and females addicts of cocaine, amphetamine type stimulants and hallucinogens.
Shah said only police can’t do anything it’s collective approach of society, parents , teachers , religious preachers .
Shah said that we are working voluntarily on this critical issue from last two years and recently a long hundreds of kilometers foot March to all districts of valley was only organized to give awarness to society, shah said it’s now entered in a phase where we as society should come forward to protect our children.
“We will continue our programs and our contribution to eradicate this menace.Security agencies are professionally dealing with peddlers but important role to be played is by we people as common citizens“ .
Shah said that they will continuously support administration to fight with tooth and nail against menace.(CNS)
