Kulgam Police arrested another drug peddler and recovered contraband substances from his possession
Today a Naka was established by the police party of police station Kulgam at Okay, Kulgam and during checking one person namely, Ishfaq Ahmad Bhat S/O Late Bashir Ahmad Bhat R/O Okay, Kulgam moving in a suspicious condition, carrying a nylon bag was signalled to stop. After noticing the police party, the said person tried to flee from the spot.
However, he was chased and apprehended tactfully. During search of the said bag, officers present were able to recover 50 grams of Charas and 02 KGs of Poppy Straw like contraband substances.
Regarding the incident case with FIR No. 06/2023 U/S 8/15, 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Kulgam and investigation has been taken up.
