Anantnag :Police on Tuesday said that they have arrested bootlegger in Kokernag area of Anantnag Illicit Liquor and Cash recovered, FIR Registered
According to data available as per *Anantnag News Reader* said In its continuous efforts against social crimes, Police party of police station Kokernag led by SHO Kokernag Nisar Ahmad Hurrah searched a house on specific information about the illicit liquor and upon checking arrested Mohd Yousuf @ Chola son of Hussain Sheikh Resident of Hiller and recovered 76 bottles of 750 ml Tum, 9 bottles of 750 ml Whiskey & 27500 Cash.
A Case under relevant sections of law was registered under FIR no 12/2023, further investigation was taken up.
People of Kokernag Anantnag are requested by Police to extend cooperation to the Police and come forward with any information regarding anti-social activity in their neighborhood.“`
