Kishtwar Administration retrieves state land measuring around 10,394 Kanal across Tehsil Kishtwar
The District Administration Kishtwar has intensified the demolition and eviction drives in all Tehsils of the district Kishtwar under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav IAS to retrieve the encroached state and Kahcharai land.
In a joint anti- encroachment drive,today a team of revenue officers along with police and other concerned officials under the supervision of Tehsildar Kishtwar retrieved state land measuring 145 kanal and Kahcharai land measuring 3 kanals at various places including Zalkot (35 kanals) near Semna, Karool Sarthal (50 kanals) ,Filler Thakraie (60 Kanals) of Tehsil Kishtwar worth crores of rupees value.
The land retrieved is encumbrance free patch and sign boards of state land boards were erected on the spot in presence of police authorities.
Till date,the revenue team led by Tehsildar retrieved state land measuring around 10,394 Kanal throughout tehsil Kishtwar including the township of Kishtwar.
DC Kishtwar has exhorted upon the ACR Kishtwar and Tehsildar Kishtwar to intensify the eviction and demolition drives in collaboration with police and other concerned in coming days so that the given target is achieved.
