Driver killed, two others injured as boulders hit truck, tanker on NHW
Srinagar, January 25 : A driver was killed while as two other persons were injured after rolling boulders hitted a truck and tanker on National Highway.
“Due to overnight rains, boulders rolled down in Magarkote hitting a tanker and truck & resulting in on spot death of truck driver, injurues to others, who have been shifted to PHC Ramsoo.Rescue op on.NH-44 blocked.” DC Ramban Tweeted.
An official told the Jk 24×7 News Service that boulders rolled down on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) at Magarkot in Ramban district, hit a tanker and truck resulting in on spot death of truck driver while two others were injured who have been hospitalized.
He identified deceased driver as Muneeb Tak resident of Supat Kulgam while injured were identified as Gopal S/o Bayant Lal R/o Peera Ramban and Rajinder Kumar S/o Prem Singh R/o Batote Ramban.
Meanwhile police has taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation Jk NS.“`
