DIG DODA-KISHTWAR-RAMBAN RANGE TAKES SECURITY REVIEW AND ASSESS TERROR/ DRUG RELATED CASES BEFORE INDEPENDENCE DAY
Today on 9th of August, 2023, DIG DKR Range, Dr, Sunil Gupta, IPS, paid visit to Doda District and chaired a high level meeting at District Hqrs to take stock of security arrangements in connection with forthcoming Independence day, “Meri Matti Mera Desh” and also review the cases under investigation in District Doda. The meeting was attended by Sh. Abdul Qayoom-JKPS SSP Doda, Shri Shakeel Rehman- JKPS Addl. SP Hqrs Doda, Shri Vinod Kumar, ASP Bhaderwah, Shri Jaswant Singh-JKPS, Dy.SP Headquarters Doda, Shri Vaseem Mehmood-JKPS SDPO Bhaderwah, Shri Adil Hussain- JKPS, SDPO Gandoh, Shri Susheel Kumar, Dy.SP DAR Doda and all SHOs of District Doda.
DIG DKR also took stock of the progress of the various under investigation and under trial cases. He gave on spot directions regarding ensuring the quality of investigation and for ensuring that the cases are rigorously followed at the trial level. DIG DKR also insisted investigating officers to conclude the investigation on merits. He also stressed on the use of technological advancements to ensure effective investigation and trial. Important cases were discussed and supervisory directions were issued by DIG on spot.
Apart from this, focus was also given on Operation MILAN, Operation SAJRA Operation TOUCH, Operation PATHSHALA, KAMDHENU, BACHAV, SANJEEVANI and Operation THIRD EYE and it was exhorted upon the officers to insist the locals for installation of CCTV cameras.
